Second, we build only in unique, timeless communities that will maintain their beauty and value in years ahead.
Third, we design homes that are truly timeless, that do not betray the year they were built.
With our first community, Deer Creek in Plano, Texas, Cambridge Homes pioneered the revival of the "Americana Look", including front porches, shuttered windows, flower boxes, and picket fences.
In 1996, Deer Creek was chosen by the Dallas Business Journal as runner-up for Best New Residential Community in the entire Metroplex. (First place went to The Residences at The Mansion on Turtle Creek!)
Many years and communities later, we at Cambridge Homes continue to win awards for the unique homes that we create, and for the special communities in which we build them.
In 2005, 2006, and again in 2007, we received our most meaningful awards yet when we were honored by DHome Magazine as one of DALLAS' BEST BUILDERS by the toughest jury of them all: Our Peers.
