Going to Closing
You've made through the picking the new home, the loan application process, and the inspections, and now you are ready for closing on your new home.
There are several things you should do before closing. The first is let us know if you want your rebate money in the form of a check, or whether you would like to subtract that amount from the financed total, or use the money towards closing costs. The last thing to do before closing is a walk through your new home to be sure that everything you are paying for is there. This is called a Buyer's walk-through and acceptance. Then, you are off to close on the home.
Closing can be a bit daunting for some people, but you have us and the title company to help explain the details associated with the HUD-1 (Settlement Statement) and the papers you will be signing at closing.
